Two of our favorite Colorado breweries, Avery Brewing Company andOdell Brewing Co are taking over the tap wall to feature their favorite sours and stouts! There will be a little friendly competition, with the winner getting our very own Golden Rockies trophy. Visitors from both breweries will be here to chat and give away goodies!
The Odell Stouts:
Whiskey Barrel Aged Lugene - Their Lugene Milk Stout aged in Woody Creek Rye Whiskey barrels for six months.
Cutthroat Porter - Smooth, robust, and inspired by classic London porters.
Dark Theory - Wild fermented imperial porter with Belgian yeast strains and black cherries.
The Odell Sours:
Pyrus & Prunus - Oak aged sour golden ale with heavy additions of pear and peach puree.
Ten Paces Huckleberry Wild Ale - American-style wild ale with a unique blend of yeast strains, with natural huckleberry tartness.
Friek - A unique blend of framboise and traditional lambic kriek, aged in oak barrels.
Pina Agria - A subtle sweet malt and pineapple backdrop with an exotic sparkling tart finish.
Flemish Giant - Notes of tart ruby red grapefruit and cherry, finishing with sweet raisin and fig.
The Avery Sours:
Raspberry Sour - Ripe red raspberries intertwined with lactic acidity and barrel nuances.
Apricot Sour - Juicy apricots and bright bursts of barrel-aged tartness combine in this succulent sour ale.
Ginger Sour - Fresh ginger gives the bite to this bright barrel-aged sour ale.
Amicitia - A sour ale blended from cabernet sauvignon barrels.
The Avery Stouts:
Vanilla Bean Stout - A double dose of vanilla from bourbon barrels and 3 kinds of vanilla beans mixes with chocolate, caramel, and molasses flavors to round out this stout.
Coconut Porter - Coconut is added to this porter before aging in bourbon barrels.
Tweak - Bourbon barrel-aged coffee stout.
Uncle Jacobs - A robust, full-bodied stout aged for 6 months in bourbon barrels.
