Located in the heart of Rainey Street, Banger's is a high-volume restaurant dedicated to serving the masses but still doing the little things well. With the largest draft system in the state of Texas and one of the premier beer programs in the country, Banger’s love’s craft beer. With  a meat processing facility with a capacity of cranking out over 2,000lbs of sausage every week and a freestanding smokehouse fully dedicated to fire and elemental cooking, Banger’s loves meat! And with over 500 seats, a bar that fits over 700 and an overall facility that allows us to accommodate private parties of up to 1,800 people Banger’s loves to serve. Now, while we are unable to do those kind of numbers due to our COVID restrictions, we plan on getting back to that as soon as it is safe to do so.  If the above sounds like it might be a good fit for you then please read on for the expectations for this position:

Utility Server

At Banger’s,  the Utility Server’s primary job is providing an amazing experience for our guests. Our Utility Server is just that, it compromises many of the FoH roles into one. Each utility server may take on one of 4 roles during a shift: Server, Bartender, Host, Runner. We have a complete team approach and everyone participates in the tip pool that is paid by check. Our Utility Servers are making very good money and, as with all positions at Banger’s, is a tight nit family.

Dishwasher

Being a Dishwasher s is a crucial role. The best-cooked meal in the world won’t mean much if the restaurant can not keep up with a clean environment. In this era of Covid, the cleanliness and sanitation of our guest area is paramount. Your role is to help provide an elevated guest experience through cleanliness and keeping the kitchen working at top speed.  We are looking for upbeat, positive, and hardworking people who can manage time well and expertly prioritize tasks. Folks that love food, love drink, and love to serve.  Banger’s loves to promote from within based on performance, so this role could be the perfect move for you to learn the restaurant business.

SANITATION ENGINEER

Being a Sanitation Engineer at Banger’s is a crucial role. The best-cooked meal in the world won’t mean much if the restaurant can not keep up with leaving guests and maintain a clean environment. In this era of Covid, the cleanliness and sanitation of our guest area is paramount. Your role is to help provide an elevated guest experience through cleanliness, positive guest interactions, and by being the last line of defense during peak business hours.  We are looking for upbeat, positive and hardworking people who can manage time well and expertly prioritize tasks. LINE COOK

At Banger’s,  a line cook’s primary job is executing the operation, maintenance and cleanliness of his or her assigned station. He or she is the muscle of the kitchen, manning stations daily and completing service through their own initiative and under the direct supervision of the Lead Line Cook, Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine. This is the foundational position of any culinary career, the place where you will cultivate a proficiency in cooking methods, multitasking, working in a brigade, and setting the tone for your career to follow.

Finance Assistant

We are not just looking for an individual who understands finance. As for the Central Office Team, we are looking for highly specialized people with a willingness to be cross-trained in the various disciplines of the department. As an example, for this role, you’ll be primarily focused on finance, but you might get to help with the hiring process for all hands on deck situations or help with office management tasks if someone’s on vacation.
